As for ARM (Real Eatate Adjustable rate mortgage), it sometimes called a variable rate mortgage, and it means that your interest rate may be adjusted periodically. It may fluctuate along with changes in market interest rate that may be rising or falling. The term of such mortgage remains constant and the amount necessary to pay off the loan by the end of the term also changes along with your loan's interest rate fluctuations. It means that your monthly payment amount is recalculated every time when the rate adjustment happens.
