We did this and it worked, our house sold pretty fast at a great price, then we dug up St Joseph and brought him to our new home and displayed him quite prominently but have had terrible luck in the new house since…anyone heard of this happening?

Actually it also works if you just bury
a picture of St. Joe. (The idea is the
intent.)

Whatever works ~ so long as it is dirt!!! You know carpenters!! Though St. Joseph was really not a carpenter ~ history is mistaken.

We did this with similar success with an apartment in NYC – although we had to bury him in a potted plant!
